The Mass for Solemnity Of The Assumption Of The Blessed Virgin Mary
(Holy Day of Obligation) will be held on Saturday 15th August, 2020 at 9.00 a.m.
This week Mass times will be:
Vigil Mass 5.00 p.m.
Sunday 8.00 a.m.
Weekday Masses will be Tuesday - Friday at 8.00 a.m.
Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered from 4.15 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. on Saturday.

SPECIAL EXHIBITION of FINE WOODWORK
at The Hermitage, Mittagong
“A History of small wooden boxes
and other themes”
created by local Artisan Christopher Marden
From his early twenties, Chris has followed his passion for designing and creating fine woodwork using traditional and modern techniques. This unique exhibition of his work, titled; ‘A history of small wooden boxes and other themes’, will showcase a variety of pieces representing and influenced by, boxes from the 1st Century to modern times from a number of Countries across the world. Also on display will be a collection of beautifully crafted wooden items.
The Exhibition will be held from 10am-3pm on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2020 A gold coin donation can be made on entry to the Exhibition in the Hall
Over the three days a Raffle ($1.00 a ticket) will be held for a specially made box. Proceeds will go to The Hermitage and drawn on Sunday at 2:30pm. A small number of Chris’s Fine Woodwork will also be on sale.
Come and enjoy the beautiful grounds of The Hermitage Retreat Centre Mittagong Visit their Gift Shop and enjoy one of their delicious Morning or Afternoon Teas for $10.00 per person. Morning and Afternoon Teas need to be paid for on arrival at The Hermitage Office.
Prior to the above dates, in accordance with the Covid-19 Safety Plan it is essential to register your attendance with the date and time you intend to visit the Exhibition.
